Well-done. To honestly explore what breaking through the dry and dusty times from the view of the pulpit is a gutsy thing. I’m thinking that the church in general could use a lot more honesty, and a lot more gutsiness…

The best expression of commonality of spirit I know is in my AA rooms. There are no superstars in such places. Nor are there castaways. Just broken pilgrims looking for home.

I’m with you on that, brother. The path to healing takes the least likely form – hunger, need, emptiness, depravity, death. And then – the empty tomb!
